For Sale: A lovely studio pottery rustic orange pebble with two white off centre stripes around the the body. Made of course stoneware ceramics with a speckled glaze to mimic natural granite stone textures and to look like a real beach pebble.
Possibly Cornish origin and handmade by a pottery in Cornwall, there are no pottery marks to attribute to individual local potter. Potter Mary Rogers produced Cornish pebbles, Tremain Pottery & Robert Fournier.
Lovely quality piece of British handmade/hand built studio ceramics. Going by the clay and glazes local produced stoneware comes to mind and dating from the 1970's.
Materials: Clay, Stoneware, Drip Glazes.
Uses: Home Décor, Display Ornament's, Exhibition Wares.
Country/Origin: British/Cornish/Cornwall.
Date: Circa 1970's.
Condition: New/Pre-owned, no cracks or chips.
Appro. Size/Dim: 3 inches (7.6 cm) high x 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) wide x 2.5 inches (6.2 cm) in depth.
