Description
Rashleigh Cornish studio pottery jug handmade and thrown by potters David Carew or Gill Hingston, Charlestown near St Austell in Cornwall. Paper label on the base and stamped (R) seal near base edge below the handle.
Materials: Clay, Stoneware, Drip Glazes.
Method: Hand Thrown.
Uses: Functional, Kitchen, Tableware, Dining Serving.
Volume: half pint.
Date: 1980s onwards.
Approx. Size/Dimensions: 5 inch (12.7 cm) high x 4.5 inch (11.5 cm) in diameter including handle & lip.
Condition: Paper label torn (see picture 4). apart from this the jug is in excellent new looking studio condition.
