Description
Mystery unknown studio pottery teapot with cane handle decorated in red orange rustic glaze and incised brown strip decoration that repeats on both sides of pot. No potters or pottery marks visible. It may be of British origin or possibly European/American infulence and design.
Lovely well made quality piece and very well ballanced handle for pouring. Depending on size of cups used this pot holds about three standard cups. The lid sits perfectly and free from any loose movement when pouring as with the spout is well balanced and smooth even pouring. Overall, a quality wheel thrown pot.
Materials Used: Clay, Stoneware, Brown Red Rustic Wash Glazes, Cane/Wood.
Uses: Hot Beverages, Tea, Herbal Fusion.
Country Made: Uknown.
Date Made: Unknown, possibly 1980's Now.
Condition: Looks like new, never used.
