Description
A very early Kelso studio pottery piggy bank handmade and thrown by potter Elizabeth Hird. Based and designed what looks like large sow. The pottery was opened in 1970 by Ian and Elizabeth Hirst.
Ian made the standard stoneware domestic ceramic wares and Elizabeth made the animal figurines and money boxes. Ideal for those collectors of pottery animal money boxes and humorous piggy banks.
Materials: Clay, Stoneware, Rustic Glazes.
Uses: Fun Money Boxes, Piggy Banks, Coins Savings.
