Description
Lovely Ian Box pottery vase decorated in a Leach style Japanese foliage sprigg design on a course stoneware body, Being a former student at the Bernard Leach pottery you can see the Leach cross over within Ian's work.
He worked at Celtic Pottery in Newlyn before opening his own stonewatre pottery called the Trevillian Pottery, Penzance in Cornwall. His pots are stamped with tent/tepee mark with TP and CORNWALL on the bottom base edge of all wares.
Materials: Clay, Stoneware, Drip Glazes.
Uses: Functional, Flower Display, Home Decor, Ornaments.
Country/Origin: UK, Handmade In Cornwall.

Date: Circa 1976-1982.
