Description
Scores pottery jug, cottage creamware by Potter Gillian Jones, handmade in Devon. Westward Ho sgraffito motto designs including an old brown cottage, trees, gardens and the slogan, (This small jug in friendship take and keep it for the givers sake), based on the Exeter's neigbouring potteries around Torquay. The jug has no pottery marks on the base. Been confirmed has from the Scores Pottery.
Materials: Clay, Red Earthenware, Slip Glazes.
Uses: Milk, Cream, Water.
Date: Circa 1980's Present.
Condition: Mint studio condition, looks new has the day it was fired.
Approx. Size/Dim: 5 inch (12.2 cm) high x 3 inch (7.1 cm) wide x 4.5 inch (11.5 cm) in depth from front to back of handle.
