Description
Lovely early hand rolled/hand built cylinder studio ceramic vase by renown potter Bob Dawe. Stamped with geometric circle/wheel designs and the top half finished off with a rich honey brown glaze including the interior of pot.
The late Bob Dawe ran the Red Barn Pottery in Great Wratting, Suffolk with his colleague, Howard Evans, from 1965 to 1968. From there he moved to Sudbury in Suffolk to work on his own.
He specializes in hand-built rolled pots with impressed, incised and cut designs with oxide colouring.
