Carbost Studio Pottery vase "torn pots" hand built by Judith Nicholls. Handmade and crafted on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, the pottery is no longer in production. Decorated with a purple speckled matte and blue white drip glazes. The interior is decorated in a dark purple blue mottled running glaze with 9ct gold edge. Inside top of neck it's signed in gold Carbost Craft Pottery (please see last picture).
Uses: Home Decor, Ornaments, Interior Decor.
Country/Origin: British. Handmade Isle of Skye Scotland.
Date: 1980's -90's.
Condition: Very good with an exception to some natural crazing and one very faint firing crack along base, hardly noticeable, hence the price.
Approx size/dim: 3 inches (7.6 cm) high x 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide x 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) in depth.
