Description
Lovely vintage Welsh Teifi pottery milk jug, hand thrown by ceramicist Rhoda Partridge. Decorated with brown and yellow mustard coloured slip glazes on a red earthenware body. Fine quality handmade studio ceramics from her studio in Parc Y Pratt Farm, Cardigan Wales UK.
Apparently she made the pottery to fund her gliding hobby and gave up both at the age of 70 . Then went to Art college and started A new career as A print artist.
Materials: Red Clay, Red Earthenware, Slip Glazes.
Uses: Kitchen Tableware, Dining Serving, Drinkware, Milk/Cream.
Date: Circa 1963 to 1990's
Condition: Very good pre-owned with the odd firing pop in the glaze, no cracks or chips.
Signed/Marks: Pottery signed on the base.
Approx. Size/Dim: 4.5 inch (11.5 cm) high x 4 inch (10.cm) wide x 5 inch (12.7 cm) in depth from lip to back of handle.
